Obituary of Darrell Lee Floyd

Darrell Lee Floyd, 38, of New Port Richey was born May 24th, 1983 in St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. He passed away at home on May 5th, 2022. Darrell was a beloved son, brother, uncle, Godfather, family member and friend. Darrell was predeceased by his parents, Truman Terry Floyd and Nancy Lee Floyd of Ridge, NY. Darrell is survived by his sister, Laurie Floyd-Smith, brother in law Gary Smith and nieces Allie and Amber Smith of Shirley, NY. As well as brother Larry Lorentsen, sister in law Amber Lorentsen, niece Dylan Lorentsen and nephews Larry Lorentsen the III a.k.a Junior, and Christopher Spellman. Darrell was a passionate Christan and member of the Bible Baptist Church in New Port Richey after having turned to God in the latter part of his life. Darrell will be remembered for his sweet soul, big heart, and his ability to make people laugh and smile. May he rest in peace in the arms of his parents.
