Obituary of Kathy Taylor

On August 15, 2021, the loving, joyful, beautiful and kind spirit of our Beloved Mother and companion Kathy Ann Taylor transitioned into Eternal Peace to be with our Heavenly Father. She was born April 28, 1964 to Kenneth Cox and Patsy Chapman in Peoria, Illinois. She was one of the seven children that they had together. She was later to be adopted by Herb and Elaine Cox and she grew up in between Illinois and Florida until she finally rooted herself in Peoria, Illinois. There she had her first baby boy Bradley and then followed her other two children Chassity and Jamin with her their father Elder James H. Taylor. She resided in Peoria, IL until she relocated to Hudson, FL in 2001. There is where she met the love of her life and soul mate Gary Basile. Very shortly thereafter they then relocated to Brooklyn, NY where Gary is originally from and they made a life there until 2015 when they relocated back to Hudson, FL to retire and enjoy their life together. Kathy was an amazing mother, companion, sister, Gigi and friend. She was so strong and resilient even after all she had been through in her short life. Kathy enjoyed the beach, loved getting dolled up, her favorite color was blue, she adored her grandchildren who called her Gigi and her children, grandchildren and Gary were her life! Recently she started her very own business called Taylor Cleaning Services, she was so very proud of that business and she was loved by so many of her clients they were more like family to her. Kathy is proceeded in death by her parents Kenneth and Patsy as well as her adoptive father Herb, along with her brothers Kenneth, Scott and sister Kelley and her beautiful granddaughter Zaylee. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Bradley Faulkner, Chassity Richards, Jamin Cox and Patty Armstrong. Her soulmate Gary Basile, and her beautiful grandchildren: Vincent, Violet, Christian, Phoenix, Kobe, Jonathan, Devyn, Jamyn, and Braydon. As well as her siblings Diane, Sandra, Tina, Mike, Dwight, Grant, Tonya. Her beautiful spirt, her bright blue eyes, her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and her huge heart to help so many others will deeply be missed as we continue on this journey called life. We will never forget her and we will always honor and remember her.
