Obituary of Frank Carl Dorner

Frank Carl Dorner of Hudson FL, 3-7-1923 to 5-19-21. Son of Hugo and Katherine Dorner. Attended Steinmetz High School, Wright Junior College, University of Minn. and Industrial Engineering College of Chicago. Frank entered the US Army in 1943. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge in Northern France. Returned home 1946 with earning Combat Infantry award, Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After a 15 year career in Engineering, Frank helped run the family dry cleaning business, Grand Cleaners in River Oak Ill. Frank was a volunteer Firefighter there. After the sale of the business, Frank retired and brought his parents to Florida in 1974. Frank volunteered many years for the Veterans Association. He was quite active in investing. In 1980, He met and married the popular local singer, Mary E Cerbone(Brandy). They had a beautiful and very successful union. At this time, Frank goes on to join his wife, dancing partner and love of his live in heaven.
