Dorothea Gulde Maresca was born April 11, 1942 in Manhattan, NY and passed away April 14, 2021 at home with both of her daughters in Pembroke Pines, FL. Preceded in death by her beloved husband William Maresca, treasured parents, Elizabeth & George Gulde, and brothers George and Richard Gulde. She leaves behind two daughters, Elizabeth Maresca Fine and Annie Maresca Ochoa, sons-in-law Mathew Fine and Robert Ochoa, and five beautiful grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Sophia, Giovanni, and Juliana. Also a loving Godmother to Diane Naughton and sister to Theodore Gulde. Dorothea enjoyed a long career working in Manhattan as a secretary before marrying her husband William and becoming a loving mother and homemaker. She treasured and embraced her Roman Catholic faith and was a daily mass goer and fervent prayer warrior. She was known for her devout faith, her cooking, and how she loved with all her heart. Funeral mass at St. Michael the Archangel on Monday, April 19th at 11 AM.
