Obituary of Richelle C. Haag

At 4:38 am, on March 12, 2020 The heavens welcomed our precious earthly angel surrounded by her Mother, Cindy, Aunt Candi, and Aunt Darlene. Richelle's light was lifted to a higher mountain; from that high place she showers us with her warmth, with her kindness and with her love. From childhood, Richelle's spirit had been connected to nature. Her vision of returning to the embrace of Mother Nature has taken root even as her amazing spirit has taken wing. Richelle was smart, she was kind and she was compassionate. Her strength and courage inspired us everyday and will sustain us as we move forward. Richelle was born in Charleston South Carolina on June 6, 1988 where her parents, Cindy Loeffler Haag and James Haag, served in the U. S. Navy and US Coast Guard. Richelle's boundless curiosity and ability to see things from a unique perspective allowed her to understand the complexities and mysteries of nature in a way that astounded those who knew her. Her great Joys included hand-feeding the deer and wild birds at John Chestnut Park and nurturing animals and being one with nature. Richelle would challenge us to move forward and lift each other up, to show love and compassion to ourselves and all we meet. She is survived by mother Cindy; Father Jim; maternal grandmother Mary Loeffler; paternal grandparents Mary and Mic; boyfriend Jay and large loving family of aunts and uncles. Please join Richelle's family and loved ones in celebrating the life of our amazing warrior. An intimate graveside burial will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Heartwood Reserve off Starkey Rd.
